Holy lanes In Delhi

Metros around the world are all about hustle and bustle. People are always in hurry. Long quest everywhere, traffic becoming endless day by day and life is almost taking a routine turn as days and years passing by...where is the time for peace of mind? Where is the place for soul search? At least there is one place in New Delhi where one can find the peace and tranquility. It is a home of great Sufi saint of Delhi, Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia. Though the area is a bit let down in terms of cleanliness and the lanes are quite dirty but these are holy lanes which can take you to a new spiritual experience of love, peace and music.

The beautiful Tenga: Arunachal Pradesh

The moment you see these kind of colorful flags, you can easily figure out you are in one of the seven sister states of India. This is Tenga in Arunachal Pradesh and comes on the way to Tawang which is famous for beautiful and magnificent Tawang monastry. It is a Must visit for avid travellers and nature lovers as entire Arunachal is not completely explored yet.

DON 2: Movie Review

It is primarily a Shahrukh Khan film and I must say I did not enjoy watching it. Shahrukh playing the central character of DON is more about style and less about the fear and charisma of DON. Director Farhan Akhtar has focused heavily on creating a persona of DON who does not spare anybody. This film is nowhere come close to the original DON movie. Big B looked very natural and stylish too but Shahrukh seems shallow in the movie.  I feel big sets and foreign locales are not going to impress real movie goers in a three hour long movie unless the film offers more in terms of storyline and treatment. Its story is not new and you feel cheated in the movie hall. Bank robbery theme is not innovative and does not experiment more rather than picking sequences directly from Hollywood movies. Farhan Akhtar who has directed wonderful movies like Dil Chahta Hai, Lakshya, DON 1 did not do complete justice to this mega budget movie. I do not say this is a completely unwatchable movie but it is good …

Sachin Tendulkar Should Retire

The game you love most, the game you watch most, the game you live most is bound to let you down most, at times. I would like to call ongoing India Australia Cricket test series a big let down for those Indian fans who love this game more than any game in the country. It is like a religion. But our cricketers are losing every prestigious game one by one. All big faces like Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, V V S Laxman, Virendra Sehwag failed or should I call it shattered against Australian bowling and batting line up like a playing card. It is a high time to raise a valid question for the betterment of Cricket. Should old players like Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and V V S Laxman declare voluntary retirement and hence pave the way for the budding young talents. Second question: should we also go for separate captaincy for test and one day format as the each format demands different type of preparation and mindset to play.

Most Beautiful Lily On Earth

Last 10 days were pretty hectic for me. I was traveling to north eastern part of India on a special project. There are so many reasons why I enjoy my work. One of the motivation is it provides me a great scope to visit unknown and unexplored places and meet wonderful people from different walks of life. I always desired to see the beauty of north east states of India but because of some or the other reasons never had the time to trip there.
This time I was excited, thrilled and I was going to the one of the seven sister states of India...Manipur. It is such a beautiful state with bundle of natural and unexplored magnificence. People are peaceful and fun loving. Imphal, the capital of Manipur is well connected by air and by road route. Imphal Tulihal airport is linked with major cities Delhi, Calcutta, Guwahati of India. There are many private buses available from Guwahati on daily basis to Manipur. Hiring a taxi in Imphal is a bit costly and they are not easy to find and…
